PET/CT Scan
Our uEXPLORER PET/CT is the most advanced PET scanner ever built! PET/MR Scan
BAMF Health’s PET/MR scanner is the first and only 3 Tesla PET/MR scanner in the state of Michigan. PET/MR is used to provide better imaging of soft tissues for conditions such as GI, gynecological and colorectal cancers, as well as applications for diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease.
Amyloid PET Scan for Alzheimer's Disease
Amyloid PET scans are a critical tool in the detection of Alzheimer’s disease. Leveraging the power of molecular imaging, our amyloid scans identify dangerous plaque buildups in the brain, which helps determine a patient’s eligibility for Alzheimer’s treatment infusions. These scans are conducted on our PET/CT or PET/MR scanners.
CT Scan
Routine CT scans, with and without contrast, are available at BAMF Health. If your doctor recommends a CT scan, tell them to order it at BAMF. CT scans are commonly ordered of the brain, chest, and abdomen. We also offer low-dose CT lung cancer screening for patients who meet specific criteria.
MRI Scan
Routine MRI scans are available at BAMF Health. If your doctor recommends an MRI scan, tell them to order it at BAMF. We offer MRI scans, with and without contrast, and can schedule you quickly. Our MRI scanner is a high-resolution, 3 Tesla machine, providing superior definition compared to traditional 1.5 Tesla scanners.
Whole-Body Scan
A whole-body MRI scan at BAMF Health is a proactive step that puts you in control of your health. This high-quality scan screens for conditions like cancer, cysts, spinal degeneration, nerve compression, arthritis, prior stroke, and more. With results in hand, you and your doctor can build a plan to address what’s there and prevent what’s not. Whole-body scans can be ordered by your physician or a BAMF Health provider.
SPECT/CT Scan
Our radiopharmaceutical therapy patients have access to our GE StarGuide SPECT/CT scanner 24 hours after every treatment cycle. This scan shows us exactly where the treatment is in their body and how hard it’s working. That same day, we review and compare the scan results to assess changes throughout the treatment course. It’s true precision medicine in action.
